Hand made by the nuns of the Monastery of Saint Dimitrios of Nikisiani, Greece. The frankincense is premium quality made according to the Ancient Athonite method of incense crafting from Mount Athos.
The brand Axia was created with theological & literal connotation as the incense is of highest quality to be dedicated to worship and prayer; The word Axia in Greek (άξια) Means "Worthy/High Value". Thus, Worthy Offerings.

By sourcing the incense from the monastery, we support the nuns who are in need of financial help. Although this project is a considerable expense, we are happy to keep our price as lower for our customers & to support these nuns who continuously pray for us. Thank you for choosing our product.

1. Gardenia (Γαρδένια)
☦️ Gardenia is one of our favourite and top selling fragrances. It has a strong floral aroma with a citrus freshness. There is a sweet tinge to the scent, that is rounded out with creamy undertones. You have probably experienced the gardenia fragrance without realizing it. It is the base scent in many famous perfumes.
2. Desert Flower (Ανθός Ερήμου)
☦️ One of the most iconic scents throughout the Orthodox world, known as a symbol of blessing and good fortune! The scent brings a feeling of harmony, peace and beautiful feeling of alertness to our home or place of worship. Some say, although superstitious, it brings love into our lives. We may suggest that it’s just a very attractive scent & we highly recommend this scent for blessing or to fragrance business locations.
3. Byzantium (Βυζάντιο)
☦️ Distinguished by its rich and deep fragrance that has long been a symbol of love and devotion. A unique blend of floral and spicy elements in honor of the Byzantine Empire, combining the botanical fragrances of geranium and lily with the warm scents of neroli, cinnamon, clove, and vanilla.
4. Myrrh (Μύρο)
☦️ Intense and rich fragrance that fills the room. Myrrh is resinous with an aromatic woody and slight medicinal smell. It can range from bitter and astringent to warm and sweet. Myrrh tends to have a smokier and sweeter smell.

Frankincense is an indirect-burning incense and requires a separate heat source such as charcoal to release the fragrance.
• Fire up the charcoal and wait 5 minute until it turns grey
• Place 3 to 4 pieces incense on top
Replace them when burned
